So, a Mist Engineer may collect a plate of pancakes she finds deep in the mists and reshape their basic substance into a crystal wand that shoots a raging torrent of water when used. Another may take a branch plucked off of a mist-born tree and enchant it so that it will cover the ground with clinging vines upon use. Any object created in such a manner can only be used once before it needs to be re-enchanted or re-created.
Creation of this kind is not easy. The creation or enchantment of an object takes twice as much effort--and entails twice as much danger--as an ordinary feat of mist handling. Individuals can, therefore, attempt a creation no higher than level 5. However, once created, the object can be used instantly and effortlessly, or even used by someone other than the creator, note that the object can still only be used once. So, for example, if you want to create a mist-needle which will repair a garment upon use, you would first consult the 'info mist/level' document to see what level this feat would normally be performed at. That kind of a feat would be at around level 3 for ordinary mist handling, so you consult create #help and type create #mag 3=<points> to create your Needle of Automagic Repair. Note that hostile items will need to be targeted when they are used, and it is easier to resist an item than it would be to resist a person. Keep this in mind.
